N\u00e9anmoins, les appareils compatible 802.11ac sont encore peu nombreux sur le march\u00e9, le\u00a0HTC One<\/a>\u00a0et le Samsung\u00a0Galaxy S4<\/a>\u00a0le sont par exemple. Des chercheurs de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Fudan \u00e0 Shanghai viennent de pr\u00e9senter une technologie qui permet le transfert des donn\u00e9es gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re au lieu d\u2019ondes radio, ce qui permet de contourner le probl\u00e8me de congestion avec des d\u00e9bits dix fois plus rapides que le Wi-Fi traditionnel.<\/p>\n

En effet, dans les zones urbaines denses, la fourchette dans laquelle les signaux WiFi sont transmis est de plus en plus encombr\u00e9e de bruit, avec les r\u00e9seaux de voisins mais aussi les signaux WiFi gratuits.<\/p>\n

LE LIFI, UN COMPL\u00c9MENT<\/h2>\n

Avec la lumi\u00e8re, on parle de LiFi<\/strong>, \u00e0 contrario du WiFi. Vous l\u2019aurez compris, contrairement au WiFi qui utilise la partie radio du spectre \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tique, le LiFi utilise le spectre optique. En effet, le LiFi utilise la couleur bleue (670 THz) ou la couleur rouge (480 THz).\u00a0Le principe du Li-Fi repose sur l\u2019envoi de donn\u00e9es par la modulation d\u2019amplitude des sources de lumi\u00e8re selon un protocole bien d\u00e9fini et standardis\u00e9.<\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00e9quipe de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Fudan a d\u00e9voil\u00e9 un r\u00e9seau LiFi exp\u00e9rimental dans lequel quatre ordinateurs \u00e9taient tous connect\u00e9s \u00e0 la m\u00eame ampoule, les r\u00e9sultats \u00e9taient plut\u00f4t bons. Malheureusement, \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 les limitations de cette technologie, nous ne pouvons pas nous attendre \u00e0 un miracle.<\/p>\n

Cette technologie pourra \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es\u00a0dans les zones congestionn\u00e9es, mais aussi dans les lieux o\u00f9 les signaux radio doivent \u00eatre r\u00e9duits au minimum, comme les h\u00f4pitaux ou les avions, ou m\u00eame lorsque les ondes radio ne fonctionnent pas, comme sous l\u2019eau.<\/p>\n
